These rubberband powered model plane kits have a design history dating back to 1889. The crow, dating to 1889, was inspired by a crow (hence the name). The hishou, an A-shaped plane with two reverse propellers, is based on a similar model which crossed the Sumida river in a contest 1911. Both kits use Balsa wood, Styrofoam, rubber bands and 5″ reverse-pitch propellers. Each plane has a wingspan of 16″ and an overall length of 18″. Instructions and glue are included. For kids aged 8 and up.
